Like many others I am a #JapanLover : Rachel and Jun

Like many others I am a #JapanLover
I have always been fascinated by the culture, loved the food, been interested into traditions and Japan´s history, enjoyed traveling and discovering new cities…this list cannot be ended because it goes on forever. However, as you can tell I adore Japan and therefore today I want to introduce you to Rachel and Jun – a husband-wife YouTube team living in Japan.

Some facts about Rachel and Jun:
  • So, Jun is Japanese, while Rachel is American
  • They met in Japan, when Rachel was studying abroad
  • But Rachel had to move back to the US.
  • Therefore they started to make YouTube videos in 2012 to stay in touch
  • Today, Rachel and Jun are united, they married and live in Fukuoka

Personally, Rachel and Jun are my favorite Japanese YouTubers because their videos are not only funny but interesting and informing. They go to great effort to show their viewers true and various sides of Japan – not just sparkling, exciting Tokyo. Traditional festivals are shown, advice about living in Japan is given, Japanese myths are explained and different travel spots are introduced. Further, Rachel and Jun also interview Japanese about questions foreigners have – for example “What Japanese think about America” or “What should Japan change”. They also try out several crazy things; like the Final Fantasy Café or Maid Café.
To sum up, the make Japanese culture available to everyone on earth.
I recommend their channel to everyone who is a bit interested into Japan, no matter if it is anime, food, cosplay, traditions, point of views, life style, technology, professions – they cover them all.

I hope you´ll check out Rachel and Jun on YouTube; all links are below.
Here are just two videos I enjoyed a lot and would like to share with you.
